Kareem Rich Jr. is an African American movie and television director, writer, actor, photographer, editor, visual effects artist, and cinematographer. He was first introduced into visual effects at 13 years old after finding a Harry Potter Fan-Based duel on YouTube, by indie filmmaker Drew Casson. This inspired Kareem to study and learn visual effects to be created in future projects.
In 2018, he then signed a deal with 'Stackin Up Entertainment' as a Videographer, landing him his first directorial debut music video, 'Movin Dat Body', with Sony artists King Hanz and UneekInt. In 2019, he helped write a student short film for his cousin Jay Jones called 'Blinded', which went became an instant hit on YouTube with over 100,000 views.
This inspired Kareem to become a movie and television director and to form his production companies 'Risen Legacy Studios' and 'Major Residence Productions.
A few of the companies kareem has worked with/for include vevo, sony, GT Digital/EMPIRE Distribution, and stackin up entertainment.
